Jenny's Holly Birds

As you know I am a huge fan of Jenny from Elefantz.  Not only is she a fabulous designer, she is sweet and kind and good.  She very generously shares so much with us for free and she also has a Craftsy shop where she sells some of her wonderful designs at very reasonable prices.  Her Holly Birds are some of my favourites.  So when I found some lovely quality aprons at reduced prices (down to $4.50 in Coles supermarkets) I set to decorating one with Jenny's wonderful bird from her Holly Bird Christmas Sampler.
I used some of my French General stash and stitched away with Country Gardens and Cosmo threads. I bought the sweet button at Sewn and Quilted.
I think this project is wonderful.  Such a transformation.
There is a very detailed, easy to understand tutorial HERE.  It is written and very generously shared by Amy at brilliant Positively Splendid.  Even if this project is not for you, you really need to visit this site, it is full of wonderful things.
Have a fabulous day
Love
