The postie returns

The postie visited yesterday bringing three more birthday parcels.  Lucky me.

Peg's parcels were wrapped in marvellous fabrics and inside were 3 beautiful fat quarters, a gorgeous tissue holder and really delicious Liquorice Allsorts - super yummy (greedily I have eaten them all up already).
This one was from Anthea.  Gorgeous fabric, a delightful pin cushion and a beautiful charm to bring me the luck of the Irish.
Michelle sent three exquisite fabrics, sweeties, a delightful book and a gorgeous heart.

Michelle said she felt she had to buy this one when she saw the name of the fabric range.  I usually give my selvages to a friend who collect them, but this is one that will be staying at my place - I love it.

Huge thanks to each and every one of these dear bloggy friends. And to all who sent me warm birthday good wishes. I am so very lucky to have you in my life.
I really love my kitchen towel from Shez (see yesterday's post) so I set about finding a pattern and now I can make some as gifts too.
There is a great tutorial for this one at Hot Flash'n Craft'n.  Here's the LINK  Thank you so much Connie.

Connie based her design on the one featured in this tutorial at Embroidery Library.  Here's the LINK.
