With Henry here I've spent most of my time playing with him and making sure he's safe. It's amazing where an 18 month old little person can get into, especially now he's worked out how to push a chair over to what he wants, then climb. It has been wonderful to have him here but tiring too. He went home at lunch time today so now I can give a bit of thought to relaxing and doing my sewing.
I really enjoyed making these hexies for my swap partner in the Inchy Hexie Flower Swap. My partner Patti asked for French General fabrics and I have a good selection of these fabrics as I love them so much.
I found the lovely bird and fabric motifs in a scrap booking shop and thought they would be a nice little extra to put in with hexie swaps as they weigh virtually nothing and most of the hexies seem to head off overseas.
Many thanks to Janet for organising this swap for us all. If you like hexie flowers, please pop over and visit Karen of Journey of a Quilter for One Flower Wednesday.
