One Flower Wednesday

Some swap hexies this week.  My hexie flower recipient asked for turquoise, orange, brown and lime green, which was a bit of a challenge for my stash but this is what I came up with.  I think her hexie flower garden is going to be amazing.

Wednesday is always a great day to visit lovely Karen at Journey of a Quilter to join in or take a look at One Flower Wednesday.  Huge thanks to Karen for organising this for us each week.

FABULOUS FREE STUFF
Just adore these hexie butterflies.  I've misplaced the link but as soon as I find it I'll let you know who's the clever person who came up with this fabulous idea.

Lovely Penny at Penny's Hands has a tutorial on paper piecing a dresden plate and she shows how to make this delightful table mat.  Many thanks, Penny.  She also shares the link to this delightful little bird stitchery (which I've sewn many times myself) over at fabulous Jenny of Elefantz blog.
