I'm a member of the Inchy Hexie Flower Swap organised by sweet Jane from Quilt Jane and Want it, Need it, Quilt. This month my partner asked for her hexie flowers to be in civil war fabrics and luckily I have some in my stash so this is what I'm posting off to delightful Deb from Frog Cottage Designs.
These lovely pink hexie flowers arrived at my place all the way from Spain. Thank you so much to Gemma, they are really lovely and will be perfect in my garden.
If you would like to see more hexie flowers please pop over to visit lovely Karen at Journey of a Quilter where she kindly organises One Flower Wednesday each week.
FABULOUS FREE STUFF
There's a great Tutorial to make this stylish paper pieced mat by Mary Ray at Craft Stylish. What a fabulous gift this would make for a sweet friend. I love Mary's fabric choices too.
I am not sure if I have come across your blog before, but I just had to stop in and make a comment based on your last post (and what I see on your blog)... firstly, I wanted to say thank you for being such an advocate towards animals... I am a licensed home-based wildlife rehabilitator in Canada, with pets of my own... love love love animals, thank you for caring too, your last post inspired me to go out and purchase that book, I have never seen it before (ordered one for my sister too!)... secondly, love that you are a fabric and thread person too, have enjoyed reading your blog and will be visting again!
