Tuesday Treasures
I'm quite partial to a Pimms and lemonade on a sunny afternoon whilst sitting in the garden reading or sewing. The idea of decorating this drink with borage flowers has always appealed, so this year, for the first time, I grew some borage. I am absolutely thrilled with the result.
I grew it in one of my herb barrels but next year I shall sew the seeds in some flower beds too. Apparently it self seeds which I see as a huge bonus. I like my garden to look a bit wild so the idea of these magnificent blue flowers popping up in unexpected places is delightful and worth treasuring.
I'm so glad that the simple things in life, like a beautiful little flower, give me such joy.
Do you have a treasure to share with us today. It can be a person, a place or a thing. Something to eat or a song you love. An idea, a thought or a dream. Anything you like. Just pop your details into Mr Linky and share in the fun.
