I only need another 25 or so and then I'll start on the little 1/2 inch hexies in the borders. I love this pattern by Irene Blanck and knew I wanted to make it from the moment I saw the pattern at Quilts in the Barn on Threadbear's stand.
I've got to finish all my White Rabbits To Do things this month as I've already bought my reward.
I bought this Layer Cake from Jane at Want It, Need It, Quilt. It is Anne Sutton from Bunny Hill's new range - Puttin on the Ritz - in the grey colourway.
I plan to turn it into churn dash blocks, possibly on an orangy background as a new quilt for my wonderful son Jack. (Jack loves orange).
Jane's shop at Want It, Need It, Quilt has the most amazing bargains. This layer cake was only $30 and I've seen it for up to $59.95 elsewhere. Jane also sent me a present. This amazing owl ribbon.
She bought it especially for me as she knows I adore owls. How lucky am I.
Off to my weekly Wednesday sewing group now. Hope you all have a fabulous day.
I am such a scatterbrain I forget to put in my link to fabulous Karen at Journey of a Quilter for One Flower Wednesday. Please pop over and say hello, maybe share a hexie or two.
