Teeny tiny hexie flowers...

...in fact the littlest I've made.  Using 1/4" hexies, I made three little flowers for my current project.  Here they are compared to a one inch hexie flower
Surprisingly I loved making them, so I think I'll be making more in the future.
If you would like to make a spotty dotty quilt, I'm sure you will find this great tutorial really useful.

Hope you have time for some stitching today

  3. Oh my! How on earth did you manage to baste them to the papers? I have had a pack of 1/4" papers sitting in my drawer for years. I bought some silk thread to use as instructed by someone overseas who made the most gorgeous things with them. She also suggested using tweezers. Is that how you made them? Half " ones are okay but not 1/4". Good on you.
