Teeny tiny hexie flowers...

...in fact the littlest I've made.  Using 1/4" hexies, I made three little flowers for my current project.  Here they are compared to a one inch hexie flower
Surprisingly I loved making them, so I think I'll be making more in the future.
If you would like to make a spotty dotty quilt, I'm sure you will find this great tutorial really useful.
It is shared by sweet Holly at Bijou Lovely.  Please follow this LINK.  Enormous thanks to Holly for sharing it with us.

Hope you have time for some stitching today

  1. Wow!My mind is blown! Love them Mel.

  2. Melody, I take my hat off to you...hexies that tiny would do my head in. LOL!!

  3. Oh my! How on earth did you manage to baste them to the papers? I have had a pack of 1/4" papers sitting in my drawer for years. I bought some silk thread to use as instructed by someone overseas who made the most gorgeous things with them. She also suggested using tweezers. Is that how you made them? Half " ones are okay but not 1/4". Good on you.

  4. Darling little hexies and I like your bigger one too! The dotty quilt is so pretty!
