Red and White

There were a number of red and white quilts at The Making of the Australian Quilt, including this beauty.

My lovely friends Christine and Anne.  We also ran into June, Suzanne and Marina.  It was wonderful to have a catch up chat.

This little cape appealed to me.  These were worn by members of The Cheer Up Society during the second World War.

Tonight I'll be stitching along with gorgeous Cheryll from Gone Stitchin'.  You can too if you pop over to her blog and sign up.  Please follow this LINK.

Impossible for me to resist anything with hexies involved
so I couldn't resist sharing the link to these gorgeous retro drawstring bags at fabulous A Spoonful of Sugar.  Please follow this LINK.  Many many thanks to Lisa and Sarah for sharing their creativity with us.
I'll be back tomorrow to show what I stitched as part of  Friday Night with Friends
Love

  1. I enjoyed seeing all the quilts from the show and nice to see a show that I would not be able to attend, so thank you for sharing.
