Vintage Quilts

All manner of circumstances conspired to keep me from my blog for the last month, but here I am feeling bright and refreshed and enthusiastic again so hopefully this little blog will be back to appearing on each week day.

A couple of weeks ago I attended the last Quilts in the Barn.  Luckily this is not the last we will see of lovely Linda, as she and a group of friends plan pop up shops and events in 2017.  I can't wait.

Here are a few of the quilts which caught my eye and stole my heart.  All of the quilts at the show were antiques.

How fabulous is Sew and So?  If you haven't visited, you will find it jam packed with sewing goodness.  A project I adore is this adorable little elephant softie.
You can find the pattern by following this LINK to wonderful Sew and So.  Many thanks to super talented Denise Mutton for sharing her creativity with us.

Have a wonderful day
Love
