Just catching up

Henry's gone home and the Paw Patrol is packed away,  Jack's engrossed in his computer, John's at the harness races, all the puppies are lying quietly in their little beds, so I might even get to stitch along with friends this evening and catch up on the latest series of my favourite, Penny Dreadful - who can resist gothic horror.

Friday Night with Friends was changed to tonight because it clashed with Chooky's Chook Shed Party.  Pop over and visit Cheryll at Gone Stitchin if you'd like to stitch along.

It is so sad to see another quilt shop close.  

We will be losing lovely Needles and Pins in Warrandyte at the end of this month.  Many many thanks to Kaye for the lovely hours I spent stitching in her delightful shop.

Now for some good news, my lovely friend (Jane was one of the first people to give me heaps of support and encouragement when I first started blogging) Jane Davidson now has her own fabric range with her friend Frances.  Congratulations ladies...wonderful news.  You can read Jane's blog HERE.

Wonderful that it references Daphne Du Maurier's Rebecca.  Must reread it and see if I still love it as much as I did when I was a teenager.
