And then there were more

It is too cold in Melbourne to willingly venture out so I spent yesterday evening making some more hexie flowers.  I've taken the advice of my teacher, wonderful Di Ford Hall, and only plan to fussy cut about 1/3 of my flowers so the eye has somewhere to rest in the finished quilt.

I'm linking this post to Piece Yourself Together hosted by Anthea.

Once I found this delightful mini quilt I had to share it with you.
I found it at one of my favourite blogs, brilliant Bee in my Bonnet, written and shared by super talented Lori Holt.  Please follow this LINK to find the project.  Many, many thanks to fabulous Lori.

Hope you have a super fun day

My hexie tally

  1. Hello Melody,

That is a great hint about having somewhere for your eyes to rest on the quilt, sometimes there is too much to look at. Love your little hexie tally too. Happy sewing Melody.
