Jam and Cream

I do love a visit to Jam and Cream, especially when it is for lunch with lovely bloggy, stitching friends.
There was lots of laughter, chatting and talk of stitching projects accompanied by absolutely delicious food.  This charming retro tea shop makes a feature of its scones which are freshly baked to order. Yum yum yum.  But there are heaps of other delicious treats on the menu too.  If you check out my Visitors to Melbourne tag at the top of the page just under the header you will find more pictures as it is part of a quilt shop tour I've put together.
Yesterday I happily gobbled vegie soup with Alfred...all the scones have wonderful names...the savory scones have male names and sweet ones female names
and Carmen which I shared with Kaye.
One of the other delights of this lovely place is the decor which really appeals to my sense of whimsy.
All in all a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.  Thank you, Kaye, Anna and Christine for your lovely company.
Torie Jayne is one of my very favourite blogs.  So much to read, so much to sew including this beautiful and practical bag.  Just follow this LINK to find the pattern and a tutorial.
Enormous thanks to Torie Jayne for everything she so generously shares with us all.
Have a wonderful day
Love
