Stitching with Friends and Penguin the Magpie

Christine and I took a trip over to our lovely friend Helen's place for some stitching time.  As you can see in these pictures, Helen's quilts are magnificent. I had a wonderful time, thank you so much to both ladies for sharing their day with me.

I am so lucky that I get to stitch every week with a fabulous bunch of ladies at The Quilt Shop in Eltham.  As well as being lovely they are a very talented bunch.

It is wonderful to be surrounded by such talented and inspiring stitchers and the surroundings are beautiful too.  We are very lucky in Melbourne's north eastern suburbs.

And for something else inspiring, please watch Penguin the Magpie...absolutely wonderful,

Lucky me, John has promised to buy me this book as a present.

I absolutely adore Liberty fabrics and luckily Kellie stocks them in her beautiful shop, Cutting Cloth.
So when I saw this beautiful project HERE at A Spoonful of Sugar it went straight to the top of my To Do List.
Enormous thanks to mother and daughter team, Lisa and Sarah for sharing it with us.
Hope your day is full of fun
Love
