Someone new...

...has joined the menagerie that lives in our garden...
...and we are thrilled.  We've seen Frogmouths in the park nearby but never in our garden, so it is very exciting.
I really love this block
Hopefully you will love it enough to follow this LINK to fabulous Diary of a Quilter where Amy has shared a brilliant tutorial.  Enormous thanks to Amy for sharing this gorgeous block.
 Have a lovely day
Love

  4. How wonderful! Did you hear them talking about birds on the radio (3AW) this morning?

  5. Love the Tawny Frogmouth photo. When we were in Australia my hubby saw one at night in my sister's yard, but I didn't see any. This one in your garden is almost totally camouflaged in the tree!

  8. It's so heart warming to see new wildlife in our own back yards. We have kookas, parrots, cockatoos and a couple of cute little swallows who have built a teeny nest on top of one of the beams of our car port. Yesterday Mark found the teeniest praying mantis, a baby, but the batteries were flat on my camera. These things always make me smile.
