The NOTYQ Raffle Quilt

The NOTYQ quilt exhibition is only just over a week away.  

This is the raffle quilt, with all proceeds of the raffle going to Banksia Palliative Care.  This was originally a raffle quilt which a group of my friends, called the Village Quilters, were making.  It was never finished but ended up being donated to NOTYQ's Community Quilts program and then passed on to the the Quilt Show Committee and NOTYQ members completed it.  So it's been on a bit of a journey but at each stage it has really been sewn with love.

Each block is really lovely

and the whole quilt has been magnificently quilted by Leanne Kaufman of Leanne's Quilting Service.

I've bought lots of tickets because I'd love to win it.

This would look delightful hanging on your sewing room wall.
