Stitching with Rosie

There's nothing like a fun morning with Rosalie Quinlan to bring a shot of happiness into your life. Every month I take a trip over to Gail B's, which is a delight in itself, to attend a class called Stitching with Rosie.  I am always in awe of her creativity.
This is what we are stitching this year, a new design which will be released later this year, a series of stitcheries which will make up into a quilt called Flowerville.
This is the block we received this month, here's Rosie's sample.

It is an exciting time for Rosalie as her new fabric range is here too.  Called Flower Child, it is just gorgeous.  I particularly love those tiny little hexies and the super useful stripes.

There are some amazing stitchers in the 'Stitching with Rosie' class, including Lyn who kindly let me share these pictures.

Exquisite stitching.

You have just got to visit A Girl and a Glue Gun.  It is packed to the brim with fabulous projects and tutorials.
Just like this one.  Here is the LINK to this fabulous hooded towel project.
Enormous thanks to Kimbo, a crafting super-star.
Lucky me I'm off to Sewn and Quilted this afternoon for the Friday Friendship sewing group.  I love these ladies.
Have a fun day too
Love
Melody

  5. What a lovely class this would be, Melody. I live too far away, alas, but had the pleasure of taking part in Rosalie's workshop at Craft Alive in Ballarat last Saturday. She gave us such a cute little design to stitch -I've been embroidering for many years but learned so much in that short time. Your stitching is lovely.
