More from Simply Vintage

I thought I'd share another little project I made from a pattern in Simply Vintage Autumn 2013.
I took one block of the quilt and plan to make it into a pincushion. I just need to add a few little flowers in the grass.

For those who don't know Simply Vintage, it comes from the Quilt Mania people and is generally available in Australia through patchwork shops. I buy mine at Sewn and Quilted and I know Karen at Mrs Martins Quilt Shop sells them, so does Corliss at Threadbear in Castlemaine.  If your local quilt store doesn't carry them, you could ask if they could get them in for you.  They are in a few newsagencies and you can buy them online HERE.

If you go to the quiltmania site you can view various videos featuring projects from their magazines including some from our own fabulous Di Ford.

This magazine used to only be printed in French but since Issue 8 Autumn 2013 it has been printed in English too.  If you do buy from Europe, remember to tick the box for the English version.  Here's a picture of the next issue, I can't wait to get it.

Here is the LINK to some fabulous vintage kitchen stitcheries.
I love them.  Many many thanks to fabulous Tipnut.
Have a wonderful day
Love

  6. That magazine and your project are over the moon! I just can't afford it though as it looks to be in Euros and not sure what that is in U.S. but boy what a great magazine! Right up my alley and I loved the retro embroidery patterns too. Thanks, as always! Your little sheep is so cute!
