...and a tea towel to match

I wanted to include some tea towels in with the apron I showed you on Monday and yes I had some I'd bought on sale.  So again I turned to fabulous Jenny from Elefantz and used another of her Holly Birds designs.  HERE they are at her CRAFTSY store.

Here is the result and I am very happy with how it turned out.  Just need to get some buttons at Sewn and Quilted on Friday and add them to the strings.

I plan to make it into a set by popping in a couple more tea towels and a lovely red spoon.

What a great gift. And you can make one for the present basket too.  Just pop over to A Girl and a Glue Gun, say Hi to Kimbo and visit the Jan 14th post HERE to see the fabulous tutorial.  Many many thanks, Kimbo.
Hope your day is a happy one,
Love

  4. Your tea towel looks wonderful, Mel. Where did you find that gorgeous towel? It's sometimes hard to find nice ones to applique on.

  8. Oh, get out! That is so sweet...those little birds with the holly on the towel? I think you should just tell me what to make and I'll make it because I love everything you do! Start a "Club Mel" and we could subscribe and then you would tell us what to make that month....but you'd have to give us the pattern and supply list. Wouldn't that be fun? You are so creative! What a great gift.
As for the makeup bag...I don't wear enough make up but I would love it for organizing little craft items. I've seen the vinyl ones for sale but now I can make my own and fabric is so much prettier than vinyl! LOL!
