Fun times...

...with my favourite little person - funny happy little Henry.
These pictures were taken at what we call the duck pond.  It is a great spot with a fabulous playground with a nautical theme.  The water is part of a water conservation and quality improvement system to capture, treat and store stormwater underground for use on parks and ovals in the area.  The landscaping around the area is beautiful and luckily it is only five minutes from home. I was pretty excited to feed the baby birds too.

Henry has been here for a stay and so I haven't had much of a chance to sew. He went home last night so today I went to my monthly Stitching with Rosie class at Gail B's.

I had the best time, we laughed and laughed.  It was fabulous fun.  We were lucky enough to see Rosalie's latest fabric range - Chirpy Lola- which she will be sharing in Houston in the next couple of weeks.

I cannot find the words to describe how gorgeous it is.  But happy, fun, beautiful all go part of the way.
We also saw part of Rosie's big project for next year...Ssshhhhh! it is a secret so I can't show you now but I must say it is absolutely adorable.  If you live in Melbourne, Rosie is planning a stitching group at Gail'B's for this project and I can tell you I am going to be first on the list.  It is a fabulous, exciting and very new idea - clever Rosie - I can't wait. Pop over HERE to see more.

Today's project from Rosalie (we receive a new project each month) is a gorgeous Christmas project, which I will stitch and keep for myself. I chose to stitch it in Cottage Garden Threads, Cranberry.
Not much actual stitching completed, by me anyway, but lots of fun, sharing and general mirth.
I can still feel those laughter-induced endorphins running around in my system.

I've got a link to a wonderful freebie today.  The cutest little fox decorating a lovely applique Pencil Case.
You can find it HERE at Sew Delicious, a gorgeous blog written by Ros. Enormous thanks to Ros for all the wonderful projects she so generously shares with us.
Happy stitching
Love

PS I want to send a huge HELLO to lovely Dawn who has just joined our stitching group at Gails.  Dawn blogs at Sew Much to Quilt.  Please pop over and say Hi.
