Finishing the centre

Little Pip had dental surgery today to remove some decayed teeth and is now safely home with her mummy and the rest of the pack.

I had a lot of running around to do today while PIP was having surgery but I plan to sit down tonight and make more little hexies.

I want to complete my part of the centre block of the NOTYQ raffle quilt as quickly as I can. Once my part is finished it can go off to Christine who is going to embroider some flowers in the cream hexies and add some little applique birds.  Monica will then complete the block with some more embroidery.  I love being part of projects that are the product of many stitchers.  Another dozen or so people have contributed by making blocks for the quilt.  It will go off to Leanne Kaufmann for custom quilting.

I would love to win it, fingers crossed.

The cactus is super trendy at the moment and I must admit I find them kind of appealing.  If you do too and would like a cactus pillow just follow this LINK.
It is at Everything Emily, Emily's fabulous blog. Enormous thanks to her for sharing this super cute design.
Wishing you happiness
Love
