Darn Cheap Fabric

I'm really lucky to have Darn Cheap Fabric located about 15 minutes from where I live.  They have some super duper bargains and a really interesting selection of fabrics.  Their patchwork fabrics are only $7.50 a metre so I bought half a metre of each.  Christmas sewing, here I come.
Fabric by Jo Morton, Kim Diehl and Anni Downs - brilliant.  They do sell on-line too.
This is such a great idea.  I tried it myself and I love it. Pop over to Apartment Therapy where there is the recipe and a great tutorial.  The link is HERE.

Have a wonderful day

Love

PS A big hello to Clare in New Zealand.  Clare rang me to let me know her Christmas in July parcel had arrived.  It was a wonderful surprise and Clare is such a lovely person.  She sent a big cyber hug to Shez too.

  13. I love that shop too, Mel! When Ken was in the Austin Hospital for heart surgery, I visited him every day, but as I couldn't see him until the afternoon, I spent most mornings in Burgundy Street killing time at Darn Cheap Fabrics. Helped to take my mind off things for a while :-(
