The venue was so beautiful
the aprons amazing
The styling out standing,
and the organisers and helpers utterly charming.
Apparently it will be on again next year and I think we need a bloggers get together there.
Cutie Pinwheel is a great blog and so is this fabulous tutorial making an apron from an old shirt.
Just go HERE.
Have a wonderful day
Love
Thanks for the show and tell, Mel. It would have been lovely to join you. Hopefully, I'll make it next year!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome display Mel...
ReplyDeleteI love aprons, and these all look wonderful!! It's a great idea for a festival.
ReplyDeleteMelody, thank you so much for sharing with us all. That exhibition is one of the ones I was going to go to with my aunt until our trip to Ballarat was cancelled due to my uncle's flu. It was going to be special for us as my mother was a real collector of half aprons. Thank you, thank you, thank you, now I feel as if I had been there after all. hugs, Kaye
ReplyDeleteSo cute and charming, thanks for sharing Mel.

ReplyDeleteHello Melody.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea, it must have been so interesting to look at the different styles of aprons. The lady dressed in the blue outfit reminded me of the nurse in The Midwives.
Thanks so much for sharing your day out with us.
Happy days.
Bev.

ReplyDeleteHi again Mel, just got my cheque today for my aprons, and have been invited to participate in next year's apron festival to be on Mother's Day again. You and your readers should all start thinking about making aprons to submit - I've chosen my three patterns already! BTW my photos are on my aprons blog if you want to have a peek, mostly similar to yours but some a bit different :-)
