Such sad news

It's heart breaking to report that the dear little baby elephant I blogged about last week has died in a tragic accident.  Last night he was playing with a favourite toy when his head became caught and he suffocated.
I have to admit I shed a tear when I heard this on the news.
His poor mum, Num-Oi.

On top of that our friends much loved Staffy, Boof ,was bitten by a tiger snake today and he died.  I'm sitting with my dear little dogs tonight, feeling very blessed to have them.  Take care, my dear bloggy friends and give your dear pets an extra hug or pat before you go to bed tonight.

  2. What a sad post. There was a snake in our chicken coup today so we've been thankful that they were okay. My heart goes out to Boofs owners and the elephants carers.

  10. It was very sad when I heard the news. Sad too about Boof. We lost our Poppy to a tiger snake 15 years ago. That is a beautiful photo of Num-Oi and Sanook.

  13. So sad, the poor little fellow. I don't know if my little dog can take too much more love and hugs, she is certainly the most popular "person" in the house.

  15. Hi Mel, I cried too when I heard about the little elephant, so sad. And although I am reading this post a little belatedly, I am so sorry to hear about your little doggie, I know how devastated I would be if anything happened to my little Ollie. My thoughts are with you and your other little doggy friends. Love Tania xx
