I've received a couple of lovely surprises in the mail in the last couple of days. These beautiful hexies arrived from Lynette as part of the Inchy Hexie Flowers group.
And I received another gorgeous churn dash block from a wonderful secret angel from Sue's Aussie Block swaps group.
Enormous thanks to both Lynette and my lovely secret angel. And I received another gorgeous churn dash block from a wonderful secret angel from Sue's Aussie Block swaps group.
I discovered I didn't have the right colour threads for my Summertime project so I finally finished the base of my little half inch hexie purse while at the NOTYQ sit and sew session yesterday.
I started my purse at the same time as fabulous Marina and hers has been finished for months so I've put this right on top of my WIPs. I feeling pretty enthusiastic about this project at the moment but with a couple of hundred little hexies to go, who knows how long this motivation will last. Here's a picture of Marina's bag. I'm posting it here to inspire me to keep going.
Such a beautiful bag
