Not only did Christine and I see amazing and beautiful vintage linen at Gina's place on Monday, she also showed us some of her crazy quilting blocks.
I was in awe.
I have lots of beads and charms and laces, I've collected over the years - so next year is going to be my year of the crazy quilt. Tomorrow I'll show you what else is going to contribute to my crazy quilt. It's so exquisite I could barely breathe when it was given to me.

Those blocks are beautiful. You knew those embellishments would come in handy one day. Maybe I could use up some of my dress fabrics in crazy blocks one day. I love the seam embellishment ideas. They would be nice on felt things.
ReplyDeleteGinas work is amazing!! I love crazy quilts, I can't wait for you to start one, I just know it will be beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWHOA! Stop right there ladies!! Melody, I think you need to amend your post - I didn't make all those myself! The peacock block is the only one I did - Pam Kellogg did all the others and sent them to me. I could never take the credit for Pam's work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I've always loved "crazy quilts" and want to make one someday or at least something "crazy" maybe a pillow first. TFS!
