and particularly enjoyed science sections.
They've been on my book shelves for many many years and I must confess I hadn't looked at them for a very long time. Recently I had a huge rearrange of my books and stopped to flick through these volumes. They had me engrossed all afternoon , so many memories came flooding back.

I remember reading a book of poems and sayings when I was little It was called the Bumper Book. I have no idea why. But there were 1930's type ilistrations and mother goose like poems.
