Feeling blue...

...not really.  I had a lovely break but I did seem to have a blue theme going with my sewing.


I sewed a simple but lovely block for my this month's partner, Jeneta, in Quilting Block Swaps Australia.  I got the pattern HERE at Faith's fabulous blog, Fresh Lemons Quilts as part of her Solstice Stars Series.
This is the sweet stitchery I worked on while away and yes indeed it does have a blue border.







FABULOUS FREE STUFF
Carrying on with the blue theme I found this beautiful blue (well... bluey green) free quilt pattern at Hoffman fabrics.  Here's the LINK
I think it is delightful.

    Beautiful blues!! I really love your star block, it's simple but striking. That freebie quilt is really lovely too.
