Today's Treasure is Ambulance Victoria
who came to my dad's aid, so promptly, when he almost severed his ear from his head. He slid on the wet bathroom floor and fell against the vanity unit. My mum heard a very loud bang and ran to investigate. There was a sharp edge where the laminate edges met and it had cleanly sliced my father's ear leaving it dangling from his head. Apparently there was lots and lots and lots of blood.
He was taken to Frankston Hospital and they were fantastic. They looked after him really well and almost 40 stitches later he is home safe and sound.

ReplyDeleteOMG Melody you wouldn't think there was anything in a bathroom that would cause that much damage!! Your poor Dad, and your poor Mum I sometimes think it's worse for the person doing the looking after (and I am not good with blood!) Give them both a big hug (though not too close to your Dad's ear)!!!!! Hugs xx
