Bad me...

...  for having A Tisket a Tasket sit for so long waiting for its binding.  Whilst continuing with the big sewing room tidy I found it sitting forlornly in the cupboard, so this morning I finished the binding off.  Now just a couple more buttons to sew on and a few little eyes to embroider.
I do love the designs by Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill, so very sweet.

FABULOUS FREE STUFF
I just can't resist cute things...
The sweetest little needle book with a great tutorial at Generation Q.  Thank you so much Cassie.

...and these little cuties to complete the set.
Again there is a great tutorial.  You'll find it at The Little House by the Sea.

  1. Isn't it great to get things finished. So satisfying. I have 2 quilts that have been waiting for binding since about 1960! Well so it seems. The mushrooms are very cute .. I must resist. Happy Sunday Mel. xx

  11. At least you are further advanced than I am Melody. I did that quilt too but as of yet it is still a quilt top waiting it's turn. I agree that Anne Sutton is fabulous. You did a great job.

  13. Nothing bad about you Mel. Sometimes quilts need a rest after all that stitching & sewing, time to settle before the final touches are done. You are in touch with the feelings of the quilt! My excuse, I'm sticking to it & you are welcome to use it too. Tracee xx

  17. Hi Melody! Beautiful Quilt. I have saved the patterns but not started yet. I love Anne's patterns, too. One of the ladies on the craft forum is doing Henrietta Whiskers at the moment and the blocks look wonderful. :)
