A bit of sewing

I've been doing a bit of sewing for swaps, gifts and little pressie tuck-ins.

I got the idea for this bit of Banksy inspired stitching from the Feeling Stitchy Flickr group.

I just love the adorable needle-cases made by Amy at Nana Company.  In fact I love everything she makes. She has a wonderful blog.

    I will look at that tutorial. I'm thinking I need to make some needle cases for some gifts. And love the stitching with the buttons!

    Lovely stitching Melody. Beautiful needlecase and the girl with the button balloons is lovely. Guess which little teddy bear has a Mummy who doesn't read when the next picnic is on properly????? Hanging my head in embarassment :(

    What a great idea to use buttons for the balloons and I love the alternating points on the star in your block. Lovely needle case.

    Your Banksy inspired balloon button girl is so cool!!! It also reminds me of a picture in the Jennifer Paganelli book called Girls World. You sew the most wonderful things!!!

    What happened to the Teddy Bears' Picnic? Did I miss something? The needlecase is so cute. I just finished a couple of needlecase swap items.
