Patchwork Teahouse Quilt-In

Along with some of my lovely friends from my stitching group, I ventured out to the Warburton Golf Club for the annual Patchwork Teahouse Quilt-In.
This day is organised, by lovely Marilyn, as a fundraiser for the local nursing home and the gardening group at the Golf Club, where the Quilt-In is held.

Please click here for a slideshow.

As always everything was perfect.  The venue is so very beautiful. We all received a present on arrival -  Five specially designed patterns and a cute box of pins.

And there were door prizes all day.  I was absolutely thrilled to win this gorgeous flannel quilt kit very generously donated by XLN fabrics

I'll be making this into a quilt for little Henry for next winter.

Five designers talked about their work and each had a stall selling their beautiful patterns.  It was fabulous to meet them and of course I had to buy a few little bits and pieces.

I hadn't met Melissa Grant before and she was charming.  Her 3-dimensional patchwork was brilliant.
How gorgeous is this waterlily needle-case?
And I fell in love with this table runner.
She has a website and a blog - One Day in May

Leanne Knell's beautiful work was charming and so was she.  I bought patterns for these adorable Christmas decorations. Leanne's website is Petals and Patches. and she has a blog too.

Also featured were lovely Libby Richardson of Art Smart Craft Cottage, sweet Liz Stanway of Teddywinks and delightful Annemarie Campbell of Eberius Designs. (Annemarie works at the Patchwork Teahouse)

We had a beautiful afternoon tea provided by the Golf Club ladies and got a bit of stitching done.  We then popped just around the corner and visited the Patchwork Teahouse.

All in all a wonderful day.  Thank you Marilyn.

  12. Hi Melody, what a great day you had there. I would love to know what the little stitchery? is called in one of the photos - the one with the little bear ontop of a plum pudding - it looks beautiful and would love to know where I can get one - it is a stitchery isn't it - if not I would love to use it as one anyway. Thanks
