One Flower Wednesday
I like to jump around from project to project so this week I'm back to a hexie flower pram quilt I started awhile ago. I plan to put funny little faces in the centre of each flower.
I also added the hexie flowers I received from Marta in Florida to my quilt. This garden is made up of all the hexie flowers I have received as part of the Inchy Hexie Flower Swap. This is organised by fabulous Jane from Want It, Need It, Quilt. I love each and every flower - thank you everyone.
On the subject of Jane, Rebecca at Chasing Cottons is hosting Quilt Class 101 and for the next two days she will be presenting -English Paper Pieced Hexagons written by Jane. This is wonderful for a few rerasons.
Firstly the tutorial is fabulous with heaps of great photos and clear informative instructions.
Secondly Jane has selected a photo of some of my hexies to include in the class.
Thirdly Jane has led me to Chasing Cottons What a wonderful blog.
And finally Jane has an amazing giveaway over at Want It, Need It, Quilt to coincide.
If you love hexie flowers as much as me, pop over to lovely Karen's blog, Journey of a Quilter, to see what everyone else has been making for One Flower Wednesday. Maybe you could play along too.
