Just one little flower this week. I turned it into a coaster and gave it to Liz. Now she's got somewhere to put her coffee cup while she makes her hexie flowers too.
Every week lovely Karen at Journey of a Quilter gives us the chance to share our hexie flowers as part of One Flower Wednesday. Thank you Karen.
Oh it is so pretty. I would be afraid that I'd spill the coffee on it. I'm sure Liz is not a messer like me though. Hope she enjoys it.

ReplyDeleteoh so pretty Mel,well done
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! That nexus flower is gorgeous. Love it. It looks like Dutch Delft.
ReplyDeleteOh, Melody - This flower is gorgeous!! Please make sure Liz wipes her cup off REALLY, REALLY well so no coffee gets on her beautiful coaster!! LOL!!! Kris
ReplyDeleteHi Melody. You have a really good eye for fabrics that work so well in these hexies. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I hope you have enough fabric to make one for yourself.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. The fabric is gorgeous. I wouldn't be game to use it for my coffee mug for fear of staining it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Melody - I love your coaster idea - I am thinking of doing some Christmas ones.
ReplyDeleteI love your fussy cut hexie flowers, Melody!
ReplyDeleteLooks like little china plates...very pretty
ReplyDeleteOh that is just so pretty, I wouldn't let a coffee cup any where near it! It's just beautiful I think I would hang it on the wall it reminds me of my blue and white plate collection! Linda

ReplyDeleteWonderful, haven't seen something so beautiful for a long time
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I would put it in a frame rather than put it under a coffee cup.
ReplyDeleteSuper! Gefällt mir total gut! Und ist so schön blau :o)

Another gorgeous flower. It resembles our portuguese tiles that were ( and still are) in old palaces and churches.
