One Flower Wednesday

A couple of little hexie flowers this week.

This one is for the spare hexie box for Jane who organises the Inchy Hexie Flower Swap.

And this one is for my Confetti quilt. It's taking a long time to grow as I've decided not to use my blue flowers but stick to raspberry, cream and browns as my main palette.

I do love making my hexie flowers and I love seeing what everyone else has made too so I pop over to visit lovely Karen at Journey of a Quilter for One Flower Wednesday.  Every week you can link up and see what other hexie flower gardeners have made.

Give-a-ways
Stephanie from Peas in a Pod and Linda from Little Bits and Pieces are organising A Little Forest Quilt-a-Long and to celebrate they are having a give-a-way of some very pretty fat quarters.

Jackie  from Jackie' s Art Quilts and Julie from The Intrepid Thread are having a give-a-way of  6 FQ's from the new collection Taza by Dena Fishbein for Free Spirit.  The are very beautiful fabrics.

Snoodles at Lily Patch Quilting also has a great give-a-way at the moment. Six fat eighths of Flurry, a roll of Heat Press, and yummy Presencia thread!

I too love simple things. I believe it is a lesson which young children remind me. Thanks for your lovely posts & inspiring work . B
