Monday Show and Tell

Today I stitched the latest addition to my version of Dawn and Vicki's Out of the Box quilt.

Dawn used some adorable buttons from Theodora Cleave on her block.  I've ordered mine and will add them when they arrive.  The mug will go under where the steam is rising, with the teapot next to it sitting on the tablecloth.

I didn't do much stitching yesterday as I spent most of the day with two little mini pigs.  This book made me laugh out loud.  Charming, funny and heart-warming.  I really recommend it.

I received presents today...
From lovely Lindi, who is my partner in a Squilters Christmas Stocking swap.  They look very interesting indeed.  I've given them a bit of a squeeze but can't guess what is inside. I must not open them until Christmas. Thank you so much Lindi, I'll try to be good and put them away.
I also received these adorable fabric packs from wonderful Jane at Want It, Need It, Quilt, my very favourite internet shop.  Bargain prices, fabulous fabrics and the very best service imaginable.  Thank you so much to my kind and generous friend Jane.

Giveaways
Don't forget my Give-a -Way.  A $25 gift voucher to spend at Jane's wonderful on-line store Want It, Need It,  Quilt. This ends on Wednesday evening, 17th August.  Just scroll down to the Teddy Bear's Picnic post below.
There is a great one over at  Samelia's Mum .  She has some fabulous stitchery patterns from The Rivendale Collection by Sally Giblin.  Enteries close on Sunday 21st August
Toni over at the Red Boot Quilt company designs wonderful projects and she is having a giveaway to celebrate her daughter's birthday.  Four fabulous patterns including this fun Christmas softie pattern.
Today's the last chance to enter Sandy from Cookies and Cream Crafts First Birthday give-a-way.  Great pattern prizes too.
There is a fabulous tutorial for this cushion at Leona's Quilting Adventure and the chance to win a charm pack so you can make it too.

  5. Upon reading your post, you make me remember my younger years. When I was in high school, we had a stitching project in our Home Economics subject. Since then, I began to love stitching.

    You're very creative.
