On Sunday the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway celebrated its 3 millionth passenger and we went along to the celebrations.
Just nearby is a lovely walking track along the river which leads to the confluence of the Yarra River and the Diamond Creek.
This is one of my favourite local spots. I love to watch the eddies and currents where the rivers meet. All was very calm on Sunday but I've seen it in stormy, rainy times when it is much more turbulent.
John and I have spent many, many hours walking along both of these rivers over the years. Just together, with the boys and with the dogs who have shared our lives over the years. So these beautiful, calm, raging, tranquil, wild and wild-life filled rivers are my Tuesday Treasures this week.
Do you have a person, a place, a thing or even an idea you would like to share as part of Tuesday Treasures. Please play along. We are a very friendly group who would love to see your treasure this week. Just pop your details into Mr Linky.
