A bit of sewing

Last night was Friday Night Sew-In with Bobbi and Heidi and I did a spot of sewing.

I finished block six of Henrietta Whiskers, a lovely free project from Anne Sutton at Bunny Hill. I love Anne's designs.

I made another block for my Red Star quilt.

On Thursday night I put the binding on this little bassinet quilt and its matching cot quilt.  My lovely son Sam and his beautiful wife, Adrienne are expecting a baby sometime in the next few days.  The nursery is decorated with a train theme - no surprise to anyone who knows Sam.

And on Friday the postie brought this lovely block from Sylvia.  Thank you so much Sylvia.  I love it. You can see what others have been exchanging HERE as part of
Thank you so much Sue for organising this great swap group for us.

  12. Your blocks are just gorgeous and I love the train quilts! When my little brother was born, my mom decorated his room in a train theme - she used model train tracks around the ceiling for a border!
