As many of you know I have multiple sclerosis and it has been very unkind to me lately but I'm feeling quite a bit better and so I'm up out of bed, which is wonderful. Thank you so much to everyone who sent me get well wishes, you are so kind and so sweet and I really appreciate each and every message.
Before I got sick I went with Liz and Rosalie to a fabulous quilt show in Monbulk, in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. It was organised by Mrs Martins Quilt Shop. I hadn't been to this shop before and I fell in love. Wonderful class samples and completed projects in abundance, great books, buttons, patterns and fabrics.
The actual community quilt show was in the most beautiful church hall just across the road. It had beautiful timber ceilings reaching skywards, lots of natural light and it was filled to the brim with gorgeous quilts. Here are a few of my favourites.
We also met Gail Pan, who was delightful. All three of us had stitched the charming project, A Christmas Wish, which she offered as a freebie on her blog in 2010. It is still there if you feel like stitching it too. It was great to be able to thank her in person for her generosity.
