Look What I Found.....

Like many of you I just adore roaming around the web and looking at all the projects the wonderful creative people in our blogging world so kindly share.  Here are a few I found this week and just adore.

A gorgeous stitchery BOM from Lyn at Blue Bird Quilts I hadn't been to Lyn's blog before and I am so glad I found it, it's just full of lovely things.  I traced this block out this morning and think I'll take it on a girl's stitching weekend at my dear friend Bronwyn's house at Korrumburra.  I'm also taking Block 1 of Birdie Stitches.

Pocket Full of Pinwheels at Cutting Corners College by Riley Blake Designs. Cindy posted this charming quilt by Karrie Lyne of Freckled Whimsey.com and the pattern and pictures are so easy to follow.  I've even got a fat quarter bundle of the same gorgeous fabrics.  Definitely one to put on my To Do list.
.,
Recently I discovered Bluebird Papercrafts and I have fallen in love with this blog.  The pattern for this dear little pink and red (how I love these colours together) dog appears HERE. I think this would be a wonderful project to share with a young stitcher and I think most kids eight and up would love making a Valentines' puppy or two.
Lots of Valentine's Day projects are being featured at the moment.  This blog is charming and makes me happy whenever I visit.

This little house pin cushion is just brilliant.  And so is the whole blog, Bearpaw, written by Jo Avery.  I've only just discovered it and you can too. Just click HERE
.,
I've always liked Raggedy Anne patterns and found a delightful page of free designs at Raggedy Scrappin.
I thought I might stitch a couple and put them away as part of Allie's Christmas Through the Year.  Allie has been showing links to lots of lovely free projects on her blog lately.

  1. I LOVE Lyn's new bom - it's definitely on my list! And I cannot get enough of Bluebird Papercrafts. Wouldn't you just love to visit her home? And I love the little house pincushion too, I'll have to post about that one too.
I can't believe we're so close to being done with the first month of the Christmas Club - I'd better get busy, lol!
