This week's Tuesday Treasure is a dear little bear which was made by my friend Roma. It was my Kris Kringle present a couple of years ago.
Roma is known, within my Wednesday sewing group, for the beautiful gentle faces on her bears. This lovely little bear came with the most beautiful pair of feathered wings. Unfortunately bad little Pippi (my small, white, naughty dog) chewed them off.
I'm sure Roma won't mind me telling you she is 89 and she still makes the most adorable bears.
Please join in and share your Tuesday Treasure with us all by clicking on Mr Linky.
There is another small prize this week. Please join in or leave a comment and you will go in the draw to win a lovely charm pack. Do both and you will have two entries. I'll draw the prize on Friday - just trying to remember where I put it, it's in a 'safe place' somewhere!
That IS a treasure!! What a sweet face and I love that she has sparkly fur!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little bear. I think Roma is a treasure as well.

All of us that have one of Roma's bears are very lucky. Roma does a great job and we are lucky to still have her at group still. She is aiming to get to her 90th so we'll be celebrating next year big time. Liz
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious treasure - I love the expression on your little bear's face, and how sparkly her fur is!
ReplyDeleteHi Melody! what a beautiful bear, giggled at Pippi gnawing her wings. We had a labrador that had a penchant for beheading barbie dolls *grin*. What a fantastic lady Roma is and how lucky you are to know her. toni xxx

Better late than never! My excuse is I don't know what day it is! I love your little bear, Melody. I know a lady who makes them too with the same expertise and love. Are you continuing Tuesday's Treasures through the holidays? Have a wonderful day.
