The best laid schemes.....

..... of mice and men
Go often askew,

Just before Christmas is not a good time to get really sick, but it does explain why I've been missing from our wonderful blogging world these last few days.
The winner of last week's Tuesday Treasure competition is lovely Bev from Kainga Happenings.  Congratulations Bev, please let me know your address and I'll get your prize to you.  This week it is a charm pack of Spencer Museum and the most beautiful bookmark from Buttonworks.
I thought I'd like to mention where I buy most of my giveaway goodies - they come from
the shop at Want it, Need it, Quilt! which is run by Quiltjane of Inchy Hexagon Flower fame

She has the most fabulous bargains. At the moment she has a couple of different Honey Buns for just $15.  I bought Civil War Alliance which I am going to use next year for Dawn and Vicki's  'Out of The Box' BOM -2011.

I've decided to take a little break for the rest of the year to allow myself time to rest and recover so no Tuesday Treasures this week.  I'm so sorry to the regular players but it will be back next year, bigger and better than ever,  Hopefully Santa will bring us all some new Treasures and we can blog about these too.
There will be lots of other new and exciting  things going on here next year too.  The Teddy Bear's Picnic on Thursdays with lots of free patterns and my new free BOM Home Sweet Home.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful people I've met through this blog and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
See you in 2011

  3. Ohhh Melody,

I am missing Treasures today but I am so sorry to hear you are sick.
Try to take time to rest and recover (and I say try with a small hint of doubt in my voice - how is one supposed to rest this time of year?)

Get well soon and have a wonderful Christmas.

Looking forward to Tuesdays Treasures after Chrissy :-)
