This week my treasure is another item from my garden. It was a Christmas present from my DH a few years ago, and is a beautiful terracotta sundial, featuring, what-else, but dragons. If you look carefully you can see the face of a third dragon who is wrapped around the pedestal. I love the faces of the sleeping dragons, so content and happy whilst taking a nap.
I've got it nestled in a garden bed outside what was my boys' cubby house (no girls allowed!).
Melody your sundial is so different , what a talking point in your garden , I love it !
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us and playing along .
How interesting Melody, that is really cute and such a perfect place to have it .
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think you like dragons Melody *grin* ...another fun shared treasure.
ReplyDeleteWhat's a bunch of dragons?? Is it a flock or a gaggle or a whord? Mmmm, just pondering out loud :-)
Happy Tuesday!!
That is very pretty! It looks like something you'd see outside Bilbo's house in Lord of the Rings!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely treasure to have in your garden :). My eldest daughter loves dragons and if they were alive I'm sure she'd have one for a pet!
ReplyDeleteThat is just georgeous - a beautiful piece of garden art featuring lovely lurking lizard like creatures.

ReplyDeleteI love your dragons. There is nothing nicer than finding quirky treats in a garden. They look like they are curled up having a nap in the nice warm sun.
