A quilt for Clare

I made this quilt for our niece Clare.  
All her school friends signed it which makes it kind of special. Clare asked for a quilt in pinks and purples. My lovely friend and longarm quilter Leanne Kaufman quilted it with butterflies and flowers and I sat and stitched the binding yesterday afternoon while watching three episodes of Secret State.  Can't wait for the last episode next Saturday, it is a gripping political thriller.

 Just an update on the missing parcel.  The courier company were very helpful and they are retrieving the parcel today.

    Lovely quilt Mel. Hopefully the couriers don't have trouble getting the parcel back. I hope it hasn't been opened!

    Quilt is beautiful, beautiful colours I'm sure she will love it. Good news about the parcel, if they don't hand it over a plane load of bloggers might have to go down there and help get it back!!
