Tuesday Treasures and a Giveaway

Today's treasure is this beautiful bird quilt.  It was made by our lovely Fiona from BubzRugz and I received it when I was lucky enough to have Fiona as my partner in a swap.  It hangs in my family room and is just one of many bird themed treasures I have around my house.
One of my favourite activities is watching the birds who visit my garden daily.  We wake up every morning to a shrill chorus of squeaks, squeals and chirps as they demand (there is no other word for it) we fill up their feeders.

    I agree totally.....birdies in the garden are beautiful treasures as is your gorgeous quilt from dear Fiona...you can be sure it was made with love as she is also a huge birdie fancier as I am sure you know. Beautiful post Mel and thanks for hosting TT for us.

    Oh how special you have made me feel... I loved doing that wallhanging and I have it on my list to do another one day... so glad it is loved....
    A bit of birdwatching is lovely and especially when they visit right at your house...

    Very beautiful book. My father was an avid bird watcher and in the last days on earth he turned me onto the beauty of birds in photos as well as in my own back yard. Birds are one of God's gifts to us. Very beautiful quilt.

    I was just browsing around and came across your site. As I was scrolling down I said to myself, oh look, she has a pet cockatoo! Then I saw where you were from :) How cool to have Cockatoos at your feeder! I have a pet Double Yellow Head Amazon. He would love to watch the birds at your feeder!
