Home Sweet Home Part 4

Time to add a bit more to our penny rugs.  This month we have a playground fence and three birdies' homes to add.  If you have time you can make two little mini quilts ready to hang on next months' clothes line or take some time to look out for suitable cheater fabric.

To make the fence cut two 1/4" x 3 1/4" cross rails and five 1/2' x 2 1/4" palings.  Cut a point onto each paling,

glue in place,

then stitch in place.

Print the bird house templates which you can get HERE and then cut out each piece in felt.   Cut 3 poles 1/4" x 3",  !/4 x 4" and !/4" by 3 1/2".  Glue in place.

Stitch around your bird houses and decorate with hearts, flowers or whatever you like.

then pop on a couple of birdie buttons.

If you feel so inclined make a couple of mini quilts approx. 4" - 5"  as they will be added to next months clothes line. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
PS I have 6 little bags with some mini quilt cheater fabric.  Just let me know, in the comments, if you would like me to post one to you.  I'll email you for your postal address.
