A Giveaway

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.  I'm one of the people who was very happy to see the end of 2016...not a good year but 2017 is going to be so much better.

I've been playing around with the look of my blog.  I change its look every year and this year I thought I'd go for a softer, more vintage look.  I'm not sure if this is how it will be in the end as I must admit I love playing around with the colours, buttons etc.  Hope you'll hang in there with me as this year's look evolves.

Last Friday I spent a fabulous day out and about in Melbourne's north east visiting quilt shops and eating delicious food.  Here's where we went, just in case you are ever in Melbourne and want to take the same trip.

282 Wingrove St, Fairfield VIC 3078, Australia
GJ's Discount Fabrics
31 Steane St, Fairfield VIC 3078, Australia

The Quilt Shop
2/38 Bridge St, Eltham VIC 3095, Australia

Petty's Orchard
1 Homestead Rd, Templestowe VIC 3106, Australia

I had the most wonderful day with Christine, Ann, Gail, Allison, Carol and gorgeous little Angus.  Thank you all for making the day so much fun.

I have two lovely panels to giveaway as a thank you for visiting my blog.  One is for followers and one is for anyone.  I am happy to post anywhere in the world.  Just leave me a comment on this post some time in the next week.  I'll announce the winners next Monday.  Please mention if you are a follower and whether you would like the bear or the owl.

I bought these panels from The Quilt Shop in Eltham. If you love these panels as much as me you can buy them from the shop.  They sell online and ship overseas too.
Here's a LINK to a charming project to start the year.  It is very kindly shared by Bev at Fabulous Flamingo Toes.  Thank you so much Bev.
Wishing you a week filled with wonder
Love

  26. I almost missed this! I think I was busy contemplating the state of the U.S. and our incoming president....scary! I would like the bear although I love both....my grandson and I share a love of bears so I would embroider it for him. They are meant to be embroidered or no?
