The Simple Splendid Sampler

My MS has been quite unkind lately and I'm having a lot of trouble with my hands.  I really want to be part of the whole Splendid Sampler experience so to keep up and manage the more complex blocks I'm making a slightly different quilt.  My quilt will be called The Simple Splendid Sampler. Here's my version of Block 4.  I took out and consulted my lovely Sue Spargo books for some stitching ideas and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed making this block.

Here are the four blocks I've completed.  It is great to still be able to sew along even if my version is slightly modified.

Today I'm sharing a LINK to a 'Sheep Happens' bag.  I think it is adorable and I love the fabric Kristie has chosen.
Please follow this LINK and Kristie's fabulous tutorial and pattern will help you make your very own version.  Enormous thanks to Kristie of OCD Obsessive Crafting Disorder for sharing it with us.
Have a super happy day
Love

  12. Love the name Simple Splendid Sampler LOL
I am doing the same but have no legitimate excuse like you, for altering designs a little.
I prefer your adapted designs, but then I'm still getting over all the piecing in the New Hexagon Milliefiori rosettes of last year - and am taking piecing less stressfully this year! Yours will be a more personal adaptation and that just fine!
