Off to Helen's Place

Last year one of our lovely bloggy friends designed a quilt and published the pattern in a little book. This is the quilt - A Holly Cottage Christmas, by lovely Michelle Ridgeway of Rag Tag Teddies

To the horror of Michelle and all of her bloggy friends, this quilt was stolen. Heart breaking.  So a little group of her friends from around Australia and the world are getting together to recreate it for her, as closely as we can.

Today, Christine, Sue, Helen and I will be meeting at Helen's place to start work on our section.  I can't wait to spend some time with these lovely ladies doing something for our much loved friend.

Anorina from Samelia's Mum is an absolute star.  She shares so many wonderful patterns and ideas with us.  I love this one.
You can find the instructions and tutorial HERE.  Enormous thanks to Anorina for everything she, so generously, share with us.

Have a fun day
Love

  2. That quilt is beautiful and what kind of a person would steal it? That is so awful and nasty! What a wonderful thing you are doing for her....I know she will feel so loved and that will help ease her loss. You gals are simply wonderful!
Cute pattern too that I might make for the grands.
